Operation and features of the capstan lathe machine: the to and fro motion drive of carriage is effected by a capstan wheel provided with a vernier graduated in millimeters or inches. Back-geared gearbox is provided in the cabinet and v-belt transition to spindle for smooth running of both actions with one lever at a time.
